Your first assignment!

Hello everyone!

Welcome to our outstanding class of new recruits! And welcome back to our returning veterans!

This is going to be a really exciting year - this group has the potential to be the best choir Lambuth has ever had! We only lost a handful of people through graduation and attrition, so we have a good core of experienced singers, and gained a large and very talented group of incoming "rookies".

Your first assignment as a member of the choir (both new and returning singers) is to click on the comments link at the bottom of this post and say hello to everyone. Tell everybody where you're from, what your major is, and anything else interesting about yourself you'd like to add. Two requirements--include your name, and keep your post clean! (Jared Canada's mom and dad have been known to read this blog from time to time....)

I can't wait to hear you all sing!

Well seeing as I'm always the first to comment...I better uphold tradition.

I'm Christie, I'm a junior Music Education major from Seattle (yes the one in Washington state) and I've been in both Concert Choir and Lambuth Singers since my freshman year. I also play the piano, so if you're ever out walking around campus around 1am you can find me practicing in the chapel :)

I've already met a TON of new choir kids...and let me say, it's gonna ROCK this year and I'm way excited to have 60+ singers in Concert Choir.

Looking forward to Tuesday!

p.s. Hi Mr. and Mrs. Canada!

Hi. I'm Jayna. I'm from Columbia, TN. I'm a Religion major and Theatre minor. I guess the most notable thing about me is that I'm Travis Garner's little sister. I know a lot of you veterans know him. I'm looking forward to this year very much. I've been in choirs but never one like this and I'm looking forward to it immensely.
